That fight is a classic! The way Yoshihiro Takayama walked to the ring with his extra tough attitude and his bleached air. The ridiculous way he entered the ring, lifting his leg extra high to jump over the top rope. His mean face expression, trying to impress Don Frye who obviously didn’t give a damn…

I hesitated a long time (five minutes) to give this fight the number one spot in our list! I wanted to give the top spot to the Sakuraba vs Arona fight because the beating was more brutal. Nevertheless, in this one the loser looks so ridiculous that I had to give it the best spot.

Sadly, the Japanese fighter didn’t leave any promo material online so I couldn’t get any trash talk lines from Takayama. However, that was the most amazing slug-fest in MMA history ever and his pro-wrestling attitude in the ring worth every trash talk you could possibly imagine!

We have every ingredient to make this fight a classic… in the comedy part of fighting!

• The furious hockey fight at the beginning, where Takayama misses every punch he lands while absorbing all of the Frye’s ones.
• His elephantine posture when he tries to land a knee-strike that almost connect. ( he hit Frye on the shoulder)
• His pathetic takedown attempt to finally get under Frye and receive some more beating.
• And finally, his inflated face 6:10 minutes later that contrast so much with his samurai look-alike posture in pre fight!

Near the end of the bout people are laughing out loud in the audience!

Enjoy this amazing fight. Sadly, there’s not the walk to the ring…
