G0DSMACK2727 says:

thiago is afraid to go toe to toe with this guy. thiago a big guy with a big tatoo with a small heart.

Jester Palad says:

wtf? LOL this made my day…

abomousa8128215 says:

 i agree 100%

daridp says:

He was trying to pull guard from a standing position.

wooimcool25 says:

Why is Tim Carpenter doing that jump butt scoot thing in the beginning?

daz45 says:

yeah because no-one ever talks shit in any form of fighting…

tojiro12 says:

i think this is from when he was still a wrestler, but I may be wrong.

daz45 says:

The guy on the outside talking shit, not you, i’m talking about the vid, if a guy is talking shit from the opponents corner there is nothing wrong with putting him in his place end of.

DontAskForHotsauce says:

who’s yelling? i was just letting you know that you sound extremely cocky. if your beyond everyone elses level then show it on the mat. not on the internet.

daz45 says:

nothing wrong with recollection, i could have took the high road but guys like that who act like utter dicks from the side need to be put into check, maybe i was being a dick as well, but in the end there is one less asshole yelling from the outside.

DontAskForHotsauce says:

Wow. your ego is showing.

VAktmracer says:

vera definitely doesn’t get credit for this one, he’s actually a decent grappler and an even better fighter

Yvonne Guerra says:

no alibata on his back.this is old

chahlie24 says:

TIm where are your grappling shorts?

AugustKamppur says:

Ya, I don’t see the tattoos on his legs either…. makes you wonder if this footage isn’t old?

knowskill5 says:

obviously you don’t fight

Romeo Barnes says:

Thats why you have to well-conditioned and on your game too. Because it becomes a game of mental breakage and the one who breaks first loses. And I cant tell you how many time my corner kept me going when I was physically done. Its not about depending on the corner they cant fight for you they’re just motivaters and an extra set of eyes. I understand exactly what you’re saying though very valid point.

daz45 says:

i understand what your saying but you should be allowed to shout instructions, but i hate it when people on the side shout stupid shit, just watch bill the grill cooper vs bruno bastos part 6 no gi here on youtube, its sooooo annoying, i remeber a guy shouted at me from my opponents corner to attack from the top, shouting “stop stalling”, just because i was up on points and he wanted me to rush, i told him to fuck off, passed the guard, then hit a far side kimura, i thanked him for the advice :D

doctorsizzle says:

hello, great points…but what happens when you meet a person that is on his game without the corner…you’re in trouble. trust me…i’m speaking from experience as well. i’ve faced a few seasoned practitioners as a beginner…and well suprisingly got out on them. a fighter/practitioner that can grasp the game, visualize the possible outcomes, and get creative…will always outwit a player that depends on the corner. when it’s you and the other…without a corner…then what?

Romeo Barnes says:

Im speaking from exprience a good corner is essential to competitive success. They see detials you cant with your adrenaline going through the roof. Keeping your in the middle prevents and/or deters triangles and armbars and prevents sweeps during your guard pass Lloyd wanted to make sure Brandon forget that because he was so focused on actually completing the pass. A-1 and A-2 are just as important as A when going from A to B. Thats what your coach is for, the small stuff.

666TheStig says:

i agree, but they do provide useful information and advice. They have a better view of the fight that the fighter does. And they are usually very qualified themselves

dklee04 says:

this was a long time ago.. this was when he just started with Lloyd I believe

doctorsizzle says:

MAN…the teams should be quiet and let the fighters think for themselves.

better for the fighters…when you tell your guy what to do the other fighter gets a heads-up on what not to do!

i hate it…

martin lacay says:

wheres brandon vera’s alibata tatoo on his back?

TTyger says:

Brandon Vera is a badass

submissionsoldier says:

TEAM LLOYD IRVIN!!!!!
