UFC 92 was a famous event. It was the event that crowned Rashad Evans as a Light Heavyweight champion after a TKO victory against Forrest Griffin at 2:46 of round 3.

It was also famous for the third encounter between Quinton Rampage Jackson and Wanderlei Silva. The first two meeting were a painfull one way beating of Rampage Jackson. Everybody expected the same treatment from The Axe Murderer… Until Jackson knocked him out cold at 3:21 of round 1 with a titanic left hook that left the Brazilian fighter uncouncious on the canvas with scary leg shacking going on.

This is also the event with the Interim Heavyweight Championship bout between Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Frank Mir. The interim title slot was created by Randy Couture when he left the UFC to become a movie star. Mir hearned a fight for the title against Lesnar after knocking out Nogueira.
