The UFC 102 event could be untitled USA Versus Brazil. All the fighters are either American or Brazilian.

6 fighters out of 20 are coming from Brazil the rest of them is all American citizens.

The event will take place at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon on August 29, 2009.

The main even fight, Randy Couture vs. Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira is a bout between the former Heavyweight champ and former interim Heavyweight champ. Couture lost his title to Brock Lesnar at UFC 91 while Nogueira lost it to Frank Mir at UFC 92.

Keith Jardine is coming out of a loss against Quinton Jackson. He’s facing Thiago Silva, who’s coming out of a defeat against Lyoto Machida at UFC 94. They both need a victory to regain a chance to a title fight.

The lineup looks really impressive, featuring only Heavyweight and Middleweight bouts, except for one Lightweight bout in the opening.
