This is going to be a hell of an event. Anderson Silva, the middleweight UFC champion and the best pound for pound MMA fighter in the world is in a difficult situation.

Not because of his opponent, but because of Dana White himself. Dana “F-bomb” White is pissed at the Brazilian fighter because of his last fight and most of his fights in general.

He wants action, no more hit and run and methodical victories. He wants blood and action.

The way Anderson fights is good, for the record, but not necceseraly for the blood thirsty audience that craves for hardcore knock out and blood bath.

We will see if the Brazilian fighter wants to keep his job in the UFC when he’ll face Sonnen.

“I’m telling you right now, if he ever acts like that again in the ring, I will cut him,” said White. “I don’t care if he’s the pound for pound best fighter in the world. I don’t care if he’s the middleweight champion”

This is going to be the second UFC live show broadcast on Versus. The main event features the rising MMA star Jon “Bones” Jones versus the former world title challenger Vladimir Matyushenko. Those two dangerous fighters are looking at a shot at the light heavyweight title. The winner might get a step closer to a title bout soon.
