The Shin & Instep Pads from Shock Wave are specially made for martial artists. Most of the shin guard do not protect the foot that much, and whey they do, they rarely protect the toes.

If you ever kicked and hit your big toe you know what I mean. It’s more painful than a cross on the jaw.

With regular shin pads, you have to buy extra foot protection gear. It makes an extra piece of equipment to buy, and they are not really handy to wear during a workout for running, warming up, rolling, etc. With the Shin & Instep Pads from Shock Wave, the sole of the foot is uncovered, it’s like walking barefoot.

This is unquestionably a step to the fore from the flat pieces of foam cut to shape. They close on the shin with two velcro lashes and fixed elastic rolls under the arch of the foot and behind the ankle. Toe straps function for either foot, so each pd works for each leg.

The shin straps are large for an easy match. This holds them in place so they don’t skid around on your leg.
