MMAWeekly.com was the first to publish the scoop that Rich Franklin and Wanderlei Silva will fight each other at UFC 99.
“I talk with (UFC matchmaker) Joe Silva and… say no problem, I’m down for 185? He say, no problem, Said Wandi to MMAWeekly.com, “I could fight in both divisions; I could fight 185 and 205.”
The fight schedules for June 13 may not be at 185 or 205 but at 195 pounds.
This fight promise to be explosive. Let’s hope Wanderlei Silva wins, otherwise he might fail into limbo after 4 loss in his last 5 fights. Popular or not, Dana White doesn’t like losers.
His only recent win was agaisnt Keith Jardine… A fighter considered as a B fighter by many.
