Rich Franklin, former UFC middleweight title holder lost his title against Anderson Silva in the main event of UFC 64 on October 14, 2006.

He got demolished by a freaking knee to the face at the 2:49 mark of around one. He had to undergo plastic surgery to be back to his normal self.

He tried to get back his title in a revenge fight against Anderson Silva and got TKOed in round 2 this time… He will fight Wanderlei Silva in a catch weight fight at UFC 99 in Germany in a must win situation for both fighters.
