Randy “The Natural” Couture is the only fighter to have possessed title belts in the UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight classes.

In 1997, at a rather old age of 33, Couture entered the UFC championship at UFC 13 – The Ultimate Force on the 5/30/1997 and made his debut beating Steven Graham and Tony Halme in the heavyweight class and in one of the last UFC tournament formats. He also got a TKO victory over the feared Brazilian sticker Vitor Belfort at UFC 15 – Collision Course. Those remarkable victories for a newcomer gave him the nickname of “The Natural.”

He got his 1st heavyweight title later that same year. At UFC 44 – Undisputed, he defeated and humiliated the reigning champion and the UFC poster boy Tito Ortiz for the light heavyweight title…
