On March 26, 2010 Lavar Johnson will enter the Strikeforce cage in the main event fight of the night in a courageous attempt to give a new start to his professional MMA career. He is going to face the undefeated and really dangerous Lolohea Mahe in a heavyweight bout.

The event will be aired live on SHOWTIME. The telecast will begin at 11:45 p.m. ET/ PT (delayed on the west coast).

The part 2 of Fight Quest in China starts with the religious initiation of the fighters. Part 1 was the introduction of the fighters to the Kung Fu master and students, but now things are getting serious, the training starts. In china, fight sport is strongly related to religion and the training is hard! The streps running and crawling looks terrible and the white American brawler is in pain right away…

After some painful up and down the steps on all four, you get introduced at stick handling. This is the most ancient Chinese weapon, and the way they use it, let me tell you, it is freaky dangerous. Once again, the American fighter looks embarrassing handling the stick compare to his Chinese fellows.

The sanda workout is really nice. It’s weird, they have the mat in the middle of the street with regular citizen watching, and laughing at him. It’s interesting to see the takedown workout. Sort of MMA throws. The three point contact to the ground is really strange. As soon as you have three points of your body touching the ground, it counts as a knock down.

Fight Quest was a TV reality show aired on Discovery Channel. The show featured two American combatants journey around the world to look into several schools of hand-to-hand fighting and martial arts.

Each episode shows them training out and learning the style of fighting over a period of five days with notable masters until they get into a final demonstration or fight in the new style of fighting they just learned…

The first show was shot in China where Jimmy Smith and Doug Anderson were learning Kung Fu, Wushu and Sanda. Sanda is a Chinese version of MMA. It mixes kickboxing with Judo throw. This fighting style is mastered by Kung Le in the States in which he is undefeated.

The Chinese episode was shot in December 28, 2007, and it was the first to 13 episodes.

UFC 56 was held on November 19, 2005 at the MGM Grand Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise.

That’s it, finally the long awaited fight between the TUF 10 coaches  is on.

Rampage versus Evans was supposed to take place at UFC 113 and even earlier, but due to Rampage acting aspirations, the fight was sent into limbo.

Rampage even started a war with Dana White threatening to stop his fighter career in the UFC. Was it scripted or not? I personally think it was. Anyway, scripted or not it was a nice fight promo.

We’ll finally find out who’s the best out of the two fighters. It’s a tough fight to call, Jackson is favored, but I personally put my money on Evans.

Rogerio Nogueira, twin brother of minautoro Nogeira the former UFC heavyweight champion will square of Forest Griffin for his second fight in the UFC after his victory at UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin 2 against Luiz Arthur Cane.

Nogeira is favored in this fight, and I have to agree with the bookers, I don’t think Griffin has a chance against Nogeira. Griffin is 6-4 in his last ten fight while Nogeira is 8-2 in his last ten fights.
