Urijah Faber is a featherweight fighter in WEC, the little UFC brother owned by Zuffa, the parent company of both fighting promotions.

He acquired the WEC featherweight at WEC 19 on March 17, 2006 and kept the championship for over two years until he lost it to Mike Brown at WEC 36 on November 5, 2008.

He lost the revenge fight to Brown by unanimous decision at WEC 41 on June 7, 2009, injuring both of his hand, braking the right one and dislocating the other later in the fight.

He is anticipated to fight Rafael Assuncao on January 10, 2010 at WEC 46.
