Machida is a monster Karateka player. He is one of the few fighters in MMA that rely massively on Karate. He was also a Sumo player in Brazil when he was twelve and started out BJJ at fifteen. Machida is a true warrior.

Lyoto ”The Dragon” Machida sports an undefeated record of 16-0. He started his career in MMA at NJPW: Ultimate Crush against Kengo Watanabe on May 2, 2003 in Japan. He later won against B.J. Penn at K-1 Hero’s 1 on March 26, 2005 and entered the UFC at UFC 67: All or Nothing against Sam Hoger. He’s coming out of a discussed victory against fellow countryman Mauricio Rua at UFC 104: Machida vs. Shogun after knocking out Rashad Evans at UFC 98: Evans vs. Machida.
