MMA Brawl

Last night was an important night for the female MMA category. The two best and most well known female athletes were competing fot the biggest fight in female MMA history, the Strikeforce Female 145-Pound Championship in the first event headlined by women in the US.

Sadly there must be a winner. Gina Carano couldn’t handle the aggression and brutality of the Brazilian fighter. Cyborg trains with men only and fight like a man. She walked through Carano punches like she wasn’t punched at all and delivered an amazing punishment to the most well known and sweatheart of MMA.

It was a hell of a fight.

Renato “Babalu” Sobral vs. Gegard Mousasi was a hell of a fight also. Babalu getting knocked out cold by Mousasi in a deadly ground and pound early in the fight.

Gilbert Melendez vs. Mitsuhiro Ishida. Mendendez got a TKO victory late in the third round. That fight was the most competitive fight of the night.

Fabricio Werdum vs. Mike Kyle scored a submission win via guillotine choke at 1:24 of the first round.
