This fight is infamous for the freakish injury that happened at the beginning of Round 2. The poor Windy Tomomi Sunaba broke her ankle in a horrible way.

Anyone who knows about this fight only remembers the nasty wound, but it seems that everyone forgot that the fight was really good throughout that unintentional serious combat injury.

Actually, Tomomi was really good in round 1. Throwing punches and knees and getting a reversal after being mounted by sexton.

The fight happened in the now defunct Bodog Fight production. The ring was located outside, on the sea side, giving a really cool exotic feeling.

The fights were aired for free, overwhelmed by commercials and sexy girls. It’s too bad Bodog stopped their MMA activities. It was B level bouts but the female category was really strong.
