That fight happened in an old Cage Rage event held in 2004 in London, England. Easy to spot when hearing the commentator accent. Really British.

At that time, female MMA was considered as weak from MMA fans and disturbing from the average spectator. You can hear that in the commentator comments.

Anyway, the fight was good. Ruth Darbisher is doing well until she gets caught in an armbar while being on top, doing some ground and pound in the mount position. Sadly, it was her only fight.

Carla O’Sullivan is 2 – 2 – 0, but she didn’t fight since 8/14/2004 at FCFN 2 – Full Contact Fight Night 2 after getting the win against Cheri Buck.

That was an old Cage Rage event. Nowadays, the show improved greatly and its now the most important MMA event in England. Lots of MMA events appeared in England since, due to the popularity of Cage Rage and the UFC events held in London.
