Yeah you can see thats a groin strike in the replay and the rules are the same for women so she got a break from the ref and it would seem like she needed it too.
The standing headlock as a base from which to launch knee strikes works well for Damm, but she was hard pressed by a strong and determined opponent. Could someone please explain why Damm was given time to recover from that kick? Was there something illegal about it?

Carina was strong and have technical stuff.. but doesnt have the figher thing.. and vanessa has.. that was vanessa first mma fight.. she didnt have the experience to fight.. today there is no way for carina to win vanessa..
