UFC 109 is going to take place on February 6, 2010 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas the home of the UFC.

Couture is heavily worshiped in this fight against Mark “the hammer” Coleman. -400 against +300. That’s a lot!

I’d like to bet on Coleman, but I have to be realistic and bet on the underdog only when I feel he has some real chances of winning. Nowadays, the guy is a shade of his former self. I don’t see how he can win that one.

Nate Marquardt is heavily favored too. Chael Sonnen, the underdog, owns a 24-10-1 fight record. He’s coming out of two consecutive victories against Dan Miller at UFC 98: Evans vs.

Machida and Yushin Okami at UFC 104: Machida vs. Shogun.

Marquardt carry a 29–8–2 MMA record and is coming out of three consecutive victories against Martin Kampmann at UFC 88, Wilson Gouveia at UFC 95, and Demian Maia at UFC 102. Their fight record is really close, and I don’t see that much difference between both fighters. This is a fight where we can make some serious cash… or lose it all! Lol

Serra versus Trigg is a tricky one to call. I personally bet on Serra, but it’s going to be a tough one.

Koscheck, 14-4 is favorite in this fight, certainly due to his popularity from the TUF show.

Thiago is 12-1 and already Tkoed Koscheck at UFC 95: Sanchez vs. Stevenson. I personally put my hard earned money on Thiago. At +325, it’s a chance to win big.

Miller, 11-2 is the favorite against Maia 11-1. The Brazilian was undefeated until his last fight against Nate Marquardt at UFC 102: Couture vs. Nogueira. Miller is coming out of a loss against Chael Sonnen at UFC 98: Evans vs. Machida. Both fighters have the same pedigree are coming out of a loss. It’s difficult to make a prediction, but with a +250 odd, I put my cash on the Mia. We’ll see.
