The show will be held in Manchester, England at the Manchester Evening News Arena and will be aired for free on Spike TV.

The fight was first moved to UFC 107 to give the main event to Anderson Silva, but the Brazilian fighter needs to undergo a surgical operation leaving UFC 105 main event to BJ Penn again and later to Randy Couture.
