Bas Rutten’s MMA Workout & Cardio Conditioning – All-Around Ultimate Fighting Training
That’s an old one, coming from an unavailable instructional DVD, but if you train MMA seriously, this is a nice cardio workout to perform on a regular basis to develop not only cardio but rapidity, strength and stamina.
The video stats like every Bas Rutten vid with his crazy, but intimidating antics of him knocking out the camera. Funny and effective.
Then,the real stuff starts. It’s really simple but extremely hard to perform. I just sent the video to my MMA trainer and asked him to include it to our routine. We do stuff like that, but this one is a hell of a challenge to do.
The principle of this routine is to break your breathing rhythm and to tired you out.
There’s a recorder voice that shouts out orders of exercises to do. The voice replaces a training master or a workout partner.
You have to mix different exercises on the floor with shadow boxing drills.
