World of MMA Champions made two different action figure of Mauricio Rua. The Mauricio Shogun Rua Variant Figure, portraying him in his Bad Boy walk out t-shirt and the Mauricio Rua Figure presenting him in his celebrating victory attitude.

Both action figures stand about 6-inches tall and are made of plastic. The Mauricio Shogun Rua Variant Figure is a limited edition of 2,548 pieces singly numerated.

According to many people, Shogun just got robbed in a fight for the title against Lyoto Machida at UFC 104 in the main event fight of the night. The fight was really close, but I agree that Shogun got the win in that one. Dana White certified him of an instant rematch, let’s see when this fight will happen.

“Shogun” Rua started out his MMA career in Pride Championship ring where he became really popular because of his extremely aggressive fighting style. He was the Wanderlei Silva’s protege for years and teammate when they were training at the Chute Boxe academy in Brazil.

Mauricio Rua holds valuable succeeds over upper MMA combatants such as Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Ricardo Arona, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Mark Coleman and Chuck Liddell.

That’s right! This is not a MMA event, this is the 2009 World MMA Awards show.

Assist to the Ceremony and Meet the Best Fighters of the Year on the 30th of December 2009 at  The Joint – Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, the fighting city.

Take  a beer (or two) with them, chat with them, get pictures and autographs. This is a unique opportunity to get close to those champions and get a good time.

The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is one of Las Vegas’ original venues and will host the 2009 World MMA Awards on the 30th of December.

The place isn’t huge, it only contains 4,000, so places are limited. The Hard Rock Hotel owns an amazing sound system with huge surrounding effects. Expect huge basses.

As I said, there are few tickets available for fans. Hurry up if you want to delight the fervor of watching the victors introduced with their prizes live and share some good time with some of the biggest names in MMA today.

This is the shirt the hammer worn at UFC 93 in Dublin. This is the one he was wearing when he walked to the cage to fight Mauricio Rua.

Sadly, he lost the fight via TKO at 4,36 of the third round, but won Fight of the Night despite losing. It was his first fight at 205. He fought one more time since and got the win versus Stephan Bonnar via Decision at the already mythical UFC 100.

He was scheduled to face Tito Ortiz at UFC 106, but was forced to pull out the fight due to injury.

Marc The Hammer Coleman is a legendary fighter from the early days of the UFC, and he is the only one who is still active today. The oldest fans remember the amazing UFC 10: The Tournament where he will beat three fighters in one night: Moti Horenstein, Gary Goodridge and Don Frye.

The three fight was legendary but the finale against Don Frye was probably one of the best MMA fights ever. The amount of punishments those guys took in that fight was absurd! Big John didn’t know what to do to make those guys stop!

The Challengers Strikeforce event coming shortly after the Fedor Emelianenko vs Brett Rogers clash is full of promise.

The undefeated Tyron “T-Wood” Woodley (5-0) will face the really dangerous Rudy Bears (10-3) in the main event fight of the night. Bears is coming out of a win against Brendan Seguin at M-1 – Breakthrough and is on a 6 fights victory streak.

The women fights of the night are action packed guaranteed. Kim Couture, the ex Randy Couture wife will face Kerry Vera. It will be her third pro MMA fight. She lost her first fight to Kim Rose by unanimous decision at Banner Promotions – Night of Combat on 6/20/2008 and won a first-round TKO over Lina Kvokov at Strikeforce – Destruction on Nov. 21, 2008.

The other female fight of the night feature the undefeated Sarah Kaufman. She is 10-0 and sports a 8 knockout 2 decisions record. She’s a hell of a striker and will certainly face Cyborg sooner or later.

This is the official UFC 89 Program sold at the show that was held on October 18, 2008 in Ireland. The program display articles on every fighter competing on the fight night, covering their training, trainers and passed fights with original pictures and interviews.

The event owned eleven fight, featuring three French fighters in the preliminary card. They all lost.

The main event fight featured a British fighter, Mickeal Bispin versus the American Chris Leben. Sadly, for the Irish crowd, the Brit won. That must have pissed them badly, they certainly cheered for Leben. Knowing the Irish people, they hate Brit’s citizen with passion.

This is the most awaited fight of the year. The coming Fedor fight in the US after refusing to sign with the UFC.

The Russian will square off with Brett Rogers, a heavy handed brawler in a cage for the first time.

Will this be enough for the Russian to get his first loss? Is he going to get use to it and demolish the black fighter like everyone claim to?

I hate MMA math, but Rogers knocked out Arlosky in a few seconds, a man who posed a treat to the Russian. Fedor was dominated until Arlosky did a mistake and got knocked out. Rogers is green but he definitely hit extremely hard.

Whatever, the Russian is heavily favored by bookies and should get an easy victory. However, in fight sport there’re always possibilities for a massive upset. Fedor is human and will possibly lose one day.
